The Devil Makes Three and Bridge City Sinners perform at sold-out McDonald Theatre show

The Devil Makes Three and Bridge City Sinners hit the McDonald Theatre March 2 for a long-sold-out show, delivering a high-energy mix of folk punk and Americana to an enthusiastic crowd. Back on Oct. 31, 2024 The Devil Makes Three debuted their new song, Spirits, and announced the release of their 13-song album of the same name. Spirits' release on Feb. 28 marked seven years since their last addition to their discography. Portland-based Bridge City Sinners opened the night with a blend of Prohibition-era jazz, Appalachian folk and punk influences. Lead vocalist Libby Lux captivated the audience with her dynamic performance, while the band showcased banjo, violin, and upright bass. Their set featured songs from their latest album, In the Age of Doubt, including Doubt and Break the Chain.
